Q. Where are the Training Centres based?

There are state of the art training centres nationally which you will attend to complete your practical training – the selected training provider will endeavour to find one located near to where you live.

Q. Who approves the courses?

All courses are approved and lead to recognised qualifications by City & Guilds, NVQ and ACS.

Q. Do I have to be a certain age to start a course?

No, there is no age limit to how old you need to be to start a course, but we do recommend that you are over 18 years to start.

Q. When do the courses start?

There is a constant enrolment process - new courses are starting all the time and you may enrol at a time to suit you.

Q. Can I study part-time due to work or family commitments?

Yes, you can study part-time.

Q. How long are the courses?

The length of the course depends on whether you are full or part-time and your ability to pass the modules.

Q. Can I fail an exam and not pass?

You can re-take exams modules if you fail them.

Q. Who will be teaching me?

Fully qualified and experienced course tutors.

Q. Are the courses all online?

These are online training courses incorporating home study and practical training at one of training facilities. It is a mixture of home based blended learning to acquire the necessary underpinning knowledge and hands-on training at fully equipped workshops to develop your practical skills.

Q. How much is the cost of my course and how can I pay?

Courses start from £35 per week. Payment can be spread over the length of the course by a flexible monthly interest-free payment plan to suit your personal circumstances.
